Are you kidding me right now?

I sign into Twitter and the first thing on my timeline this tweet from a girl in my school:

“@FactBook 16 years and 2 months is the average age at which a female in the US loses her virginity.” mentions her friend and says “That’s us!” 

Are you fucking kidding? Did you really just advertise to all of Twitter that you and your best friends are not virgins? Come on, are you THAT desperate? 

First off, why would you put that on a social networking site? Anybody can see that, and anybody can show someone else. 

Second of all, its not “cool” to advertise who you’ve slept with. Sleeping with a lot  of guys and telling everybody doesn’t make you pretty. It doesn’t make you cool. It doesn’t make you have friends. It doesn’t make people like you. It makes me lose respect for you.  

Third, some things should be private. I may sound old fashioned, but you should not tell all your followers certain things like that. 

So, why put it on Twitter?!
